HAPPY WIFE , HAPPY LIFE ; UNHAPPY WIFE ,STONE COLD MISERY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE

Wise man once said” Happy Wife Happy Life ” what he failed to mention was the other side of this quote which illustrates , Un happy Wife breeds Stone cold misery for the rest of your life . Last Sunday the incident that shocked the World at Oscars 94th Academy Awards ceremony grasped a whole lot of heat when Will Smith , a huge Hollywood Movie Star, struck Chris Rock, a renowned comedian ,when Chris cracked a joke about Will’s Wife Jada Smith .
Jada Smith had been diagnosed with Alopecia, a condition which causes baldness. So Chris Rock’s joke about ‘G.I Jane’ referring to Jada’s bald head triggered Will Smith to walk on that stage and slap Chris. Will was so emotionally devastated by it that he didn’t bother about the ceremony being broadcasted live and millions watching . Will was seen laughing at that first but when he saw Jada rolling her eyes on that joke he being a husband couldn’t held back and walked on the stage to smack Chris.

Surprisingly after the incident Will Smith won the Oscar for best actor for his role in King Richard. Will Smith’s speech was emotional and inspiring for the listeners however many were unimpressed by his reaction to a joke about his wife. If you ask me ,what do you expect from a loving husband? To clap on a joke somebody cracked on her medical condition? Will did what any other husband would do .However not the way he did it. So it was indeed surprisingly shocking to see a man who has never exploded out in public like that.

Will Smith said and I quote, “Oh, man. Richard Williams was a fierce defender of his family,” Before starting to cry he said . “I’m being called on in my life to love people and to protect people and to be a river to my people. I know to do what we do, you got to be able to take abuse. You got to be able to have people talk crazy about you. In this business you got to be able to have people disrespecting you. And you got to smile, you got to pretend like that’s OK.I want to apologize to the academy. I want to apologize to all my fellow nominees. … Thank you for this moment. And thank you on behalf of Richard and the entire Williams family. Thank you. I hope the academy invites me back.”

Will was seen to have support from many other stars of Hollywood industry .However was seen luring Will into a corner. According to iPak’s correspondent Denzel Washington  told Will, I quote,” be careful at this highest moment of his life because that’s the point when devil comes for you” .Will has always wanted to be the vessel for love ,violence was never his forte. He apologized to Chris Rock publicly . He confessed that he was out of line and he is embarrassed by his actions. He was never violent and always took criticism and jokes with dignity .However the joke about his wife’s medical condition was unbearable for him. He got emotional when he saw his wife’s reaction.

Chris Rock understood how he had unintentionally overstepped with that joke .So when Los Angeles Police Department’s officials approached him ,whether he would want to press charges against Will Smith , he denied and kept on saying that he doesn’t want to sue Will either . According to many sources Chris Rock was seen unshaken with Will’s act . He was seen at the after party at Guy Oseary’s place. Later on P.Diddy ,a famous U.S musician told the press saying, ” Both of them are still brothers. There nothing but love .The duo is over so get over it “.

Many Hollywood actors reacted to Will’s furious action.  Many even believe that this might be the end of his career.However to many Will Smith showed to the World how much he loves his wife and he would go beyond limits to safeguard his family’s integrity . He may have disturbed the world but he made sure that his wife felt secure knowing that her husband would do anything for her .Regardless of the consequences he may have to face .Will Smith is without a doubt family loving guy . Most importantly he owned his mistake and felt no shame in apologizing publicly for his embarrassing action.
