Pakistan and Australia played 1st test match on 4th march at the Rawalpindi cricket stadium .where as the 2nd test match was held in Karachi on 12-16 march while the 3rd test match will be held in Lahore after 13 years ever since the Sri-Lankan team was attacked by terrorist . the 3rd test match will be held on 21-25 march. Australian team is scheduled to tour Pakistan for a multi format series next month. After the test matches an ODI series will follow with one-off T20 encounter on 5th April .
Pakistan played against Bangladesh last year in November-December when they defeated Bangladesh with a margin of 2-0 .Babar Azam is leading the Pakistani team while Pat Cummins of Australia is leading Australian team . Australia is currently ranked as top of the ICC men’s Test rankings whereas Pakistan is at the sixth position . Considering the home advantage hopefully Pakistani team will cover the margin with the opportunity at hand. the two teams have played total of 66 test matches out of which Australia is currently leading the chart with the margin of 33-15 . So hopefully with the advantage of home ground and Pakistan’s ambitious captain Babar Azam may be able to decrease the margin .
