After a Record Breaking Performance Norway Tops By Winning 16 Gold Medals
Beijing (Ipak Tv News): The European country with population of almost 5 million people continued to beat its own weight in Beijing Olympics 2022, finishing above others at the medal table.
Norway has won the most gold medals, 16, and a maximum of 37 medals, from all the delegates competing this month.
During the Beijing Winter Olympics team Norway finished at the top of medal table, the same way as they did four years ago at Pyeongchang 2018.
The Norwegian team has won two fewer medals than their previous record of 39 set in 2018 but broke the Olympic gold medal record by winning 16 Medals.
With Germany standing at the second position by winning 12 gold medals, Followed by Team China which claimed nine gold medals by showing its best ever performance at a Winter Olympics. Whereas Team United States, Team Sweden & Team Netherlands won eight gold medals each.
