Pakistan was formed on the basis of Islamic beliefs .We have been calling Pakistan ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN from day one .Our founders dreamt of this country so that we ,Muslims and in fact other minorities can practice their belief’s in peace. A good will gesture on part of our ancestors that ,we, the future generation can practice Islamic belief’s more passionately and with more enthusiasm . No matter what people say but we fought with Indians when East India Company left on the basis of one sole purpose .That purpose was to have our own domain ,a country on the world map that can allow us to say that this piece of land is owned by Muslims .This is Islamic Republic of Pakistan .
Unfortunately that dream of our ancestors got buried with them. Each generation that came was only inspired by the western civilization. Our kids are taught A,B,C in the primary schooling besides Urdu alphabets ,i quote ALIF ,BAY ,PAY . We train our kids to be like Americans from day one .So how can we expect them not to be inspired by that civilization. I won’t even call it a civilization but for the sake of moral respect lets just say that they are what they claim to be . A place where women is not respected the way they should be as our teachings of Islam. They don’t believe in anything accept of what they know. According to them there is no heaven ,no Hell ,(NA AZU BILLAH) no GOD. After death there is oblivion. Most of the western world is Ethiest and they strongly condemn those who try to teach them .They lie , they cheat ,they steal on basis of race and different agendas. No doubt some states do hold majority of Christian believers as well but none of them give women the level of respect that is given in our culture.
Now that we got that out of the way lets just observe how much respect is given to women here in our Muslim country. No doubt in some parts of our country there is discrimination and unequal rights on part of women. But mostly now women are given liberty of finding good jobs, even on Federal level. Yet statistically speaking according to Human Rights Commission and Women’s Foundation almost 11 rape cases are reported every day in Pakistan . Our generation is so frustrated that they don’t see or realize the consequences of their actions. No one speaks about it unless that person faces the same act of evilness. Now when we speak about it its not only men that need to be held accountable for such actions .
Our women’s dressings are getting more western then ever before. What needs to be reminded is that they are in the East and are known as Eastern civilization so no matter how much they try they will never be Western and yet each day a new western style fashion wear is being sold in markets of our so called ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN. The ummah of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W . I ask them would they wear such clothing when He (Prophet Muhammad S.A.W) was around ? Would they even dare to walk around the streets like they do now in markets like Liberty Market and Anarkali Bazar ? I don’t think so. But still even if our beloved Prophet S.A.W is not around we still need to remember that the only Prophet who would be asking for mercy for his ummah will be our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W .This ummah who has no shame or dignity to at least try to act on the teachings of Holy Quran and Prophet Muhammad S.A.W .
Every morning on television we see morning shows with ladies hosting those shows in most so called modern and western style bridal wears that one is forced to wonder if that show is aired in Pakistan or California. We often see advertisements in which women are dressed in western style and yet they ask why women are the victims. The point is that our ladies need to be careful about there dressing and how they present themselves outside their homes . How come the ladies in Veils and Abayas are not harassed often ? How come only ladies wearing tight Mic Jagger jeans and short skirts are being harassed by our youth ? There is a reason behind it and that reason is quite obvious. ALLAH S.W.T has kept attraction amongst the two genders. Males are attracted to females just as females are attracted to males .Although ladies have more modesty compared to males but still women are also to blame to ignite such devastating act of evilness.
The statistics mentioned on the internet regarding rape cases in Pakistan are an eye-opener. They are so unbelievable that i’d rather choose to speak about the reason that may be behind it ,than the stats itself. Rape is no small thing. In our culture once a women is known to be raped people despise her. Even that poor lady’s own relatives avoid meeting her. No one marry that poor lady .No one even cares about her mental health or the traumatic incident she just faced ,apart from her family . I ask my readers how often have they heard about some man marrying a women because she was raped and no one was marrying her? Even though that is sign of greatness if one does so ,but our culture is so full of hypocrisy that people do entirely opposite to what they say. However without deviating from my point , our ladies need to be careful when it comes to dressing . Our government should play the most important role of all amongst all this , like in Saudia Arabia . Lashes on the streets ,beheadings on stage and stoning to death in front of public not only plants fear amongst people but also makes them realize the delicacy of the situation. A sin is a sin and no matter who does it must be punished by all means necessary in light of teachings of Islam . So each of us need to start from our own houses .One by one things will get better Insha’ALLAH .
I believe that this country should be under the Islamic Law. Every sinful act should be punished then and there. Either its a ministers son or a General’s daughter a sin needs to be punished accordingly.
