Customers faced the loss of priceless pictures and precious data gathered with the passage of time. Memorable moments were captured and data is fragile to the latest update which wiped the phone leaving the users to regret buying the latest S series, launched by Samsung several months ago.
A victim of this mayhem told the world by sharing a post on Facebook claiming not to update their Samsung S21 ultra (android phone) as it causes the phone to go blank and die.
Customers rushed to the customer service centres seeking answers. People who waited hours in line outside Samsung’s Tech office were offered only one solution. They were told to hand over their cell phones for a full factory reset. By this, every installed Application, game, contact and data will be deleted. Frustrated customers have asked Samsung officials for answers.
Experts in the market say that this will be the end of Samsung. Samsung was the only competitor of Apple Inc. This issue will not only dismantle its credibility amongst retailers but also amongst investors. It is creating an insecure atmosphere for investors globally. Despite the problem, affecting phones for more than a week. The update notification is still being sent to phones.
Tech Experts at Samsung told iPak officials that they are well aware of the situation. They urge users not to update until a viable solution is conveyed to them. Soon the problem will be dealt with. Only the Southern part of Australia seems to be affected says a spokesperson. He also showed serious concern regarding Company’s future since Samsung is about to launch its latest premium Cell phone series in the market.
