The United States of America has recently enhanced their list of anti-Pakistan terrorists. These Specially Designated Terrorists have been under the radar for some time. The US government highlighted four key members affiliating with Al- Qaeda and Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Washington continues to deploy its best possible resources to the emerging threats posed by terrorists operating in Afghanistan.
BLACKLIST :
Usama Mahmood: Cheif Al-Qaeda’s Regional Indian Subcontinent Wing.
Mahmood just caught the so-called all-seeing eye of the US last month. However, he has been under the radar of the European Union Council since last February. He has been part of the EU’s sanctions list over terrorism since then.
Atif Yahya Ghauri: Trusted Deputy of Mahmood
His name came forth earlier this year when a team of UN monitors highlighted that the leader and his deputy are involved in dismantling stability in the Afghan region.
Mohammad Maruf: In charge of recruiting more Terrorists
Qari Amjad: The Deputy Cheif of TTP
According to the US Department of State, Amjad is responsible for the overseas operations and militant bodies in Pakistan KPK (Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa).
In the reporting year 2021 by UN Security Council, Amjad has been serving Anti-Pakistan objectives since at least 2018. He is indeed a crucial member responsible for the chaotic instability in Pakistan.
WHAT NOW?
Now that the US has highlighted the additional members .of TTP and Al-Qaeda .responsible for global insecurity. Washington is going to use its resources against these individuals. They will not hesitate no matter the collateral damage.
The US secretary of State Antony Blinken reflected on the new measures against the posing threats emerging from the Afghan Region. Since a common ground was found between the Afghan Taliban and the US, after taking control in Kabul, the Afghan Taliban will allow the US to use all possible measures against terrorism.
